The Pout-Pout Fish is an upcoming animated fantasy adventure comedy film directed by Ricard Cussó and Rio Harrington, and written by Elise Allen and Elie Choufany. It is a international co-production between Australia and United States and is based on the children's book The Pout-Pout Fish by Deborah Diesen and published by Macmillan Publishers featuring Nick Offerman, Nina Oyama, Miranda Otto, Nazeem Hussain[2], Jordin Sparks, and Amy Sedaris.[3]
The Pout-Pout Fish is scheduled to be released theatrically on January 1, 2026 in Australia and on March 20 of the same year in the United States.[2] It will be distributed by Viva Pictures in the United States.[4]
