Tennyson Ewomazino Olisa is a Nigerian chess player.

Chess career

In 2023, he won the John Fawole Chess Award for Junior Player of the Year.[1]

In April 2025, he won the African Super Zonal Chess Championship.[2] He also won the silver medal in the Zone 4.2 West Africa Championship, during which he defeated the top seed Amarelle Ortega in the seventh round.[3]

In September 2025, he earned the Africa continental qualifier spot for the FIDE Grand Swiss Tournament 2025.[4] At the event, he held draws against grandmasters Abdimalik Abdisalimov and Baadur Jobava.
