Taizo Yoshida (吉田泰造 (Yoshida Taizo); born 24 April 2006) is a Japanese Greco-Roman wrestler.[1] He won the bronze medal at the 2025 World Wrestling Championships in Zagreb and became the Asian Champion in 2024.[2]

Career

Yoshida first appeared at the 2022 U17 World Wrestling Championships in 2022, placing eighth in the 80 kg category. The following year, he won the gold medal at the 2023 U17 World Wrestling Championships in Istanbul, again competing at 80 kg.[3]

In 2024, he competed at the Asian Wrestling Championships in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, where he won the gold medal in the 82 kg Greco-Roman category.[4]

He also competed at the 2024 World Wrestling Championships, finishing in fifth place. The following year, Yoshida secured a bronze medal at the 2025 World Wrestling Championships in Zagreb in the 82 kg category, marking his first senior world medal.[5]
