Stirling East is one of the seven wards used to elect members of the Stirling Council. It elects three Councillors.

2025 by-election
In August 2025, Conservative councillor Bryan Flannagan resigned.[2][3] A by-election was held on 30 October 2025 and was won by SNP candidate Josh Fyvie.[4][5][6]
