Career

Miles attended Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, Missouri, and the University of Missouri, where he was a walk-on for the Missouri Tigers baseball team.[1] The San Francisco Giants selected Miles in the fourth round of the 2022 MLB draft.[2][3] He missed the 2023 season due to back surgery. After making five appearances in 2024, Miles underwent Tommy John surgery in June 2024. He did not pitch during the 2025 regular season, but the Giants assigned him to the Arizona Fall League.[4]

The Blue Jays selected Miles from the Giants in the 2025 Rule 5 draft.[5]

Personal life

Miles' older brother, John, played baseball for Missouri from 2012 to 2015.[6]
