Skerjafjörður

Skerjafjörður (Icelandic pronunciation: [ˈscɛrjaˌfjœrðʏr̥], "skerry fjord") is a fjord[1] located immediately west of Iceland's capital Reykjavík.[2] It is part of a larger bay, Faxaflói,[2] on Iceland's west coast.On August 7 2000 a plane crashed into the sea in Skerjafjörður.[3] All 6 people onboard the plane died.[3]
