Sharaf Mahama (born 21 September 1996) is a Ghanaian sports administrator and licensed FIFA football agent. In 2024, he passed the FIFA Football Agent Examination, enabling him to operate as a football intermediary under FIFA regulations.[1][2]

He is the son of current president of Ghana John Mahama.[3]


Early life and background

Sharaf Mahama was born in Ghana to John Dramani Mahama, who served as President of Ghana from 2012 to 2017 and is currently serving a second term as president of Ghana.[4] He attended school primarily in the United Kingdom during his younger years and later completed studies in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), before pursuing his football career in Europe.[5][6]

Career

In May 2024, Mahama passed the FIFA Football Agent Examination, becoming a licensed football agent accredited by FIFA. The qualification enables him to represent professional football players and facilitate transfers in accordance with international football regulations.[4][7]
