Shaea Muhssin Mohammed Al-Zindani (Arabic: شائع محسن محمد الزنداني; born 16 September 1954)[1] is a Yemeni diplomat serving as the minister of foreign affairs of Yemen since 26 March 2024.[2] He was born in Jahaf District in Dhale Governorate. He served as the deputy foreign minister from 1990 to 1991. From 1991 to 1994, he served as ambassador to the United Kingdom. From 2005 to 2010, he served as ambassador to Italy as well as the non-resident ambassador to Greece, Serbia, Albania, and San Marino. From 2008 to 2010, he served as ambassador to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. He was appointed ambassador to Jordan in 2010[1] and then quit over the Yemeni revolution[3] but resumed his role, serving until 2015. From 2017 to 2024, he served as ambassador to Saudi Arabia as well as permanent representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.[1]
