Sergey Mikhailovich Sokolov (Russian: Сергей Соколов, born 1968) is a Soviet and later Russian journalist.

Sokolov has worked as a journalist for the newspapers Komsomolskaya Pravda and Novaya Gazeta. He is currently the editor-in-chief of Novaya Gazeta.[1]
