Seher – Hone Ko Hai is an Indian Hindi-language television drama series that premiered on 2 December 2025 on Colors TV. Produced by Richa Yamini under Icecream Dreams and Aarambh Entertainment. It stars Rishita Kothari, and Parth Samthaan.
Plot
The story is set in Lucknow. Seher, aspires to be a doctor as per her mother, Kausar’s wishes but her father, Parvez, who ill treats the two is against the same. The three travel to Lucknow and settle with Parvez’s second wife, Sofia.
On the other hand, Mahid is the grandson of Osman Niyazi. The Niyazis are known for upholding the staunch religious beliefs. Mahid is extremely short-tempered owing to the childhood trauma associated with his late mother. On a police officer’s insistence, Osman commands Mahid to get himself treated by Dr. Fareed Quadri.
Osman, on the other hand, intends to get Mahid married to Seher and offers the proposal to Parvez.

Production
Release
In late October 2025, Colors TV unveiled a teaser introducing the new show titled Seher – Hone Ko Hai, featuring Rishita Kothari and Mahhi Vij.[1] The series was released on 2 December 2025.[2]
Casting
Parth Samthaan was confirmed to play male lead, Mahid.[3] Mahhi Vij was reported join the cast as Kausar, and marks Vij's return to TV after a 9 year hiatus.[4] Apurva Agnihotri was signed for the role of dr. Farid.[5] Vaquar Shaikh were announced join as Parvez.[6]
