Rindra Rabarinirinarison
Rindra Hasimbelo Rabarinirinarison is a Malagasy politician who has served as Minister of Economy and Finance in the government of Madagascar[1] since August 2021.
Biography
Rabarinirinarison has degrees in public management from Georgia State University and in public procurement from the International Law Institute (Washington DC).[2]
Rabarinirinarison was the head the public procurement commission of Madagascar from 2016[2] to 2020. Then she became a senior official in the finance ministry.[3] Andry Rajoelina appointed her as the Minister of Economy and Finance in August 2021.[3][4] Under her leadership, the Malagasy economy grew 4% in 2023 and a $100 million Development Policy Operation (DPO) agreement has been made with the World Bank.[5]
