Prajakta Dusane (born 13 April 1992) is an Indian actress and model from Mumbai, Maharashtra.[2] She is best known for her role as Sharmili in the Hindi TV series Dr. Madhumati On Duty on SAB TV.[3]
Career
Dusane began her career appearing in television shows and music videos, including "Tum Bhi Pachtaoge" featuring Mohd Sharia.[4]
She later appeared in web series, including Patra Petika and Jalebi Bai 2, where she played a central role as the titular character in the second season.[5]
In 2025, her upcoming projects on platforms such as Ullu were affected due to the government ban on certain OTT content, which led to the cancellation of releases planned on the platform.[6]
She has discussed the impact of changing audience mindsets and new avenues in digital content since the pandemic.[7]
