Potassium ethylhexanoate is the organic compound with the formula KO2CCH(C2H5)CH2CH2CH2CH3. It is the potassium salt of 2-ethylhexanoic acid. It is a colorless solid that is soluble in a variety of organic solvents.[1] It also forms a monohydrate.
