Podhorany (Hungarian: Menyhebédszalakusz) is a village and municipality in the Nitra District in western central Slovakia, in the Nitra Region.[4]
History
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1113.
Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 175 metres (574 ft)[3] and covers an area of 17.70 km2 (6.83 sq mi) (2024).[5]
