Piss in the Wind is the upcoming fourth studio album by Japanese-Australian singer-songwriter Joji, set to be released on 6 February 2026, through Palace Creek and Virgin Music Group. It is his first album release since his departure from former label 88rising.[1]
Background
Joji begun teasing Piss in the Wind on 11 October 2025, updating his social media profile pictures, and creating a WhatsApp channel. On 13 October, Joji updated his website and posted on social media 'see u soon', the next day "Pixelated Kisses" was released. A few weeks later on 3 November, Joji posted a teaser 'more this week' with a YouTube Premiere of a new single 'If It Only Gets Better'. Piss in the Wind was announced alongside the music video. Cover art and release date were announced the same day. On November 7, Joji released another single called “Past Won't Leave My Bed” in support of the album. A month later on December 3, Joji released a remix of “Pixelated Kisses” with American rapper Yeat. On December 7, Joji released the official tracklist to the album.
Singles
"Pixelated Kisses" was released as the lead single from Piss in the Wind on 14 October 2025, alongside its accompanying music video, directed and edited by Mamesjao. It is his first release under his own record label Palace Creek, which is distributed by Virgin Music Group. It charted on the Billboard Global 200, ARIA Charts, Canadian Hot 100, and other countries.[2]
"If It Only Gets Better" was released as the second single, alongside the official announcement of the album on 4 November 2025. Its music video was released on the same day, directed and edited by Mamesjao.[3]
"Past Won't Leave My Bed" was released two days later, alongside a music video directed by Ethan Eng.[4]
"Pixelated Kisses (With Yeat)" was released on December 2nd 2025, and is a remix of Pixelated Kisses featuring American rapper Yeat. The music video follows a similar style to the original of trippy visuals and story.[5]
