Paul "Fletch" Fletcher is an English rock drummer, best known for his tenure as the drummer of the British blues-rock band Juicy Lucy from 2004 until at least the late 2010s.
Career
Juicy Lucy (2004–)
In 2004, after the legal dispute over the band name was resolved, bassist Colin Fudge and drummer Paul Fletcher joined Juicy Lucy.[1] Fletcher is credited as the drummer during the band's mid-2000s revival, which yielded the studio album Do That And You’ll Lose It (2006).[2] During his tenure the band performed at UK festivals, including an appearance at the Cambridge Rock Festival in 2007.[3]
Style and reception
Fletcher's drumming style is rooted in blues-rock and rock traditions, providing the rhythmic backbone during Juicy Lucy's revival years. Published commentary focuses primarily on the band rather than extended analysis of Fletcher's individual technique.[4]
