Oscar Davies is an English barrister.[1][2]
Davies is notable for being the first openly non-binary barrister.[3] Davies uses they/them pronouns but also finds he/him acceptable. Davies has also said they would prefer if genders did not exist.[4] Davies uses the term Mx in their title.[4]
Trans Legal Clinic
Davies does legal work for the Trans Legal Clinic.[3]
In 2025, Davies worked with the Trans Legal Clinic along with the clinic's founder, Olivia Campbell-Cavendish, Britain's first black transgender attorney, and Dr. Victoria McCloud, the UK's first openly transgender judge.[3]
They appealed to the European Court of Human Rights in regards to the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom’s ruling that the word woman refers to "biological women".[3][5]

PinkNews reported that Davies stated the UK Supreme Court 2025 ruling on biological sex was being used to exclude transgender people.[6]
