Nicholas Thurkettle (born 1977) is an American voice actor and writer.[1] He is known for his voice as Von Lycaon in HoYoVerse Zenless Zone Zero (2024).[2] He is known to voice animated series, such as Takasugi in Synduality Noir (2023) and Yamato Beni in Go! Go! Loser Ranger! (2025).[3]
Career
Around early 2025, he is one of the leading figures from Zenless Zone Zero on independent strike towards MiHoYo. His reason is for protection against the threat of AI plagiarism.[4] Thurkettle and his colleague refuse to record the line until MiHoYo sign a new agreement with SAG-AFTRA.[5]
On March 2025, he was replaced by Will de Renzy-Martin for Von Lycaon.[6]
