The Naspers Centre is a 93-metre (305 ft) skyscraper located at 40 Heerengracht Street in the Foreshore area of Cape Town, South Africa.[1][4][5]
At its completion in 1962, it was known as the Sanlam Centre and was the tallest building in South Africa (fourth tallest in Africa). An electronic news feed used to be displayed on the exterior of the building which would become visible at night.[2][3]
The building serves as the headquarters of one of South Africa's largest companies by revenue; multinational media company Naspers.[6]
One of Naspers' subsidiaries is Media24, the branding of which can be seen on the side of the building.[7] There is also a 16 by 14 metres (52 by 46 feet) digital display below the logo on the building's west side.[8]
