Mustafa Sessiz (born 1995 in Çorum, Turkey) is a Turkish freestyle wrestler who competes in the 97 kg division. He represents İstanbul Bahçelievler Belediyesi and the Turkish national team in international competitions.[1]

Career

Sessiz won his first major international medal at the 2015 European Juniors Wrestling Championships in Istanbul, Turkey, where he earned silver in freestyle 84 kg.[2]

In 2018, he captured gold in the freestyle 92 kg category at the World University Wrestling Championships in Goiânia, Brazil.[3]

He claimed a silver medal at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya, Turkey, competing in the 97 kg freestyle division.[4]

At the 2022 Turkish Wrestling Championships, Sessiz became national champion in the 97 kg freestyle category.[5]

In 2023, he won the gold medal at the 2023 World Military Wrestling Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, competing at 97 kg.[6]
