Muhammed Ozmuş (born 3 January 2003) is a Turkish freestyle wrestler who competes in the 74 kg weight class. He represents Turkey internationally and competes domestically for Ankara TEDAŞ Sports Club.[1]

Career

Ozmuş won the gold medal in the men’s freestyle 74 kg category at the 2022 Turkish Junior Wrestling Championships held in Tokat. He later took a silver medal in the under-23 division at the 2022 Turkish Wrestling Championships held in Konya.[2]

At the 2022 European U20 Wrestling Championships in Rome, Italy, Ozmuş won a bronze medal in the 74 kg event. He defeated Stas-David Wolf of Germany 4–2 in the first round, Miko Markus Elkala of Finland 11–0 by technical superiority in the second round, and Menua Yaribekyan of Armenia 4–1 in the quarterfinals. He lost 7–0 in the semifinals to Azerbaijani world junior champion Dzhabrail Gadzhiev, but defeated Krisztian Biro of Romania 10–0 in the bronze medal match.[3]

At the 2025 U23 World Wrestling Championships held in Novi Sad, Serbia, Ozmuş won the silver medal in the men’s freestyle 74 kg event. He defeated Manuel Wagin of Germany 10–2 in the first round, Zelimkhan Mutsukhaev of Poland 11–0 by technical superiority in the round of 16, and Tao Shen of China 11–0 in the quarterfinals. In the semifinals, he beat Magomed Haniyev of Azerbaijan 7–3 before losing to Mitchell Mesenbrink of the United States in the final.[4]
