Michael R. Jacobs (born May 9, 1979) is an American college football coach. He is the head football coach for The University of Toledo, a position he has held since 2025.[1][2][3] He was the head football coach for Lenoir–Rhyne University from 2020 to 2023.[4][5][6] He was the head coach for the Notre Dame Falcons football team from 2016 to 2019.[7][8] He also coached for Eastern Michigan, Wilmington, Purdue, and California (PA).[9] He played college football for Ohio State as an offensive lineman and long snapper.[9][10]

On December 10, 2025, Jacobs was named the head coach of The Toledo Rockets football program.[11]
