Mexico competed at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile from 20 October to 5 November 2023. This was the country's 19th appearance at the Pan American Games, having competed at every one since the inaugural edition in 1951.
Taekwondo athlete Carlos Sansores and basketball player Karina Esquer were the country's flagbearers during the opening ceremony.[2] Meanwhile, basque pelota athlete Isaac Pérez and archer Alejandra Valencia were the country's flagbearers during the closing ceremony.

Archery
Mexico qualified three athletes (one man and two women) by winning the respective categories in the 2021 Junior Pan American Games.[3][4][5] Mexico also qualified eight athletes during the 2022 Pan American Archery Championships.[6]
