Medicaps University is a private university located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was established in the year 2015 under the Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam. History

Founded in 2015, Medicaps University was established under the Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam as a private university in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.[5] The university traces its roots to the Medicaps Group of Institutions, which was founded earlier as a technical and management education institute. Medicaps University initially operated from its Pigdamber, Rau campus, providing programs in engineering, management, commerce, pharmacy, and allied disciplines.[6]

The university has been guided by Chancellor R.C. Mittal[7] and Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Dilip K. Patnaik.[8] Over the years, Medicaps University has expanded its academic offerings and infrastructure, hosting undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across multiple faculties. The university celebrated its first convocation in 2018, marking a key milestone in its academic journey.

Campus

Medicaps University is located at AB Road, Pigdamber, Rau, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. The campus spans approximately 28.62 acres with a built-up area of 83,513.78 square meters.[9] The university operates from this permanent campus which houses its academic buildings, administrative offices, and student facilities.

Central Library

Medicaps University’s Central Library serves as the Learning Resource Centre and provides access to a wide range of academic resources. The library is equipped with print books, e-books, journals, theses, and dissertations. It also offers access to digital databases and online resources relevant to engineering, management, pharmacy, sciences, and allied disciplines. The library includes air-conditioned, Wi-Fi enabled reading halls to facilitate research and study for students and faculty.[10]

Hostel

Medicaps University provides residential facilities for its students. The campus houses multiple hostels for men and women, with separate accommodations for female students. The rooms are designed to provide comfortable living, including shared and single occupancy arrangements depending on availability and program requirements.
