Mayur Maheshwari (born 26 July 1976) is an IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh.[1][2] He currently serves as the CEO of the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (UPSIDA).[3][4][5][6]

Early life and education

Maheshwari was born in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh on 26 July 1976. He completed an MBA in finance from Amity University.[7]

Career

He assumed charge as CEO of UPSIDA in July 2020 after serving as a Director in the Prime Minister's Office.[3][8][9][10]

Awards and initiatives

Maheshwari received the United Nations Public Service Award (2012) for the "Aarogyam" healthcare initiative the Election Commission of India Award for Best Electoral Practices (2012), and a CSI Nihilent Award for e-governance.[7] He and his wife Ritu Maheshwari were also granted a patent for a health communication system.[7]

  • An agreement with Central Electronics Limited to create smart and green industrial infrastructure.[12]
  • Execution of 113 mega plot allotments worth ₹700 crore investment and ~4,800 jobs in May 2025.[13]
  • Rapid growth of the UPSIDA digital platform, from 800 to over 11,000 monthly users.[14]
  • Remarks at UP’s Logistics & Supply Chain Summit highlighting infrastructure growth and income targets.[15]
  • Approval of subsidies worth ₹9 crore for warehousing projects under state industrial policies.[16]

Personal life

Mayur is married to Ritu Maheshwari, also an IAS officer and have two children.[17]
