Marta García Rincón (born 28 June 2003) is a Spanish weightlifter. She is a three-time European Championships medalist (2023, 2024, 2025) and the 2022 European Junior silver medalist.
Career
In October 2022, García Rincón won the silver medal at the European Junior Weightlifting Championships held in Tirana, Albania, lifting 148 kg in total (67 kg snatch, 81 kg clean and jerk). She also earned small silver medals in both events.
At the 2022 World Weightlifting Championships in Bogotá, Colombia, she finished 11th in the 45 kg category.[1]
In April 2023, she won the bronze medal in the 45 kg category at the 2023 European Weightlifting Championships in Yerevan, Armenia, with a total of 153 kg.
At the 2024 European Weightlifting Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria, García Rincón again won bronze with a 156 kg total (72 kg snatch and 84 kg clean and jerk). She placed second in the snatch event.[2]
In December 2024, at the 2024 World Weightlifting Championships in Manama, Bahrain, she competed in the 45 kg category and won a small bronze medal in the snatch with 75 kg, finishing seventh overall in the total.
At the 2025 European Weightlifting Championships in Chișinău, Moldova, García Rincón won the silver medal with a 164 kg total. She took gold in the snatch event with 77 kg.[3][4]
