Marko Grgić (born 11 September 2003) is a German handball player who plays for SG Flensburg-Handewitt and the German national team.
Club career
Grgić played for HG Saarlouis in the 3rd league until 2022. In 2022 he moved to the second division club ThSV Eisenach.[1][2] With Eisenach he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2023. He changed to SG Flensburg-Handewitt in 2025.
International career
Grgić was called up to the extended squad of the German national team for a training course in May 2024 and made his first appearance in a friendly against Sweden on 12 May 2024.[3][4] He scored his first goal for the national team in his second game a month later in a friendly against France in preparation for the 2024 Summer Olympics.[5]
Personal life
His father Danijel Grgić is a former Croatian national handball player who played for ThSV Eisenach from 2003 to 2005.[1] His German mother Ina played in the top league for TSG Ruhla during this time.[6]
