Mario Antonio Olavarría Rodríguez (born 9 February 1963) is a Chilean lawyer and politician affiliated with the UDI. He was elected as a member of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile, representing the 8th District (Province of Chacabuco: Colina, Lampa, Til‐til etc.) for the 2026-2030 legislative term.[1][2]

Background

Olavarría studied law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and obtained his degree in 1987.

Prior to his election to Congress, he served multiple terms (2000–2021) as Mayor of Colina, and later as Presidential Provincial Delegate of Chacabuco province.

Political career

In the 2025 parliamentary election, running for the 8th District, Olavarría obtained 23,873 votes (3.11%) and secured a seat in the Chamber of Deputies representing his district's provinces of Colina, Lampa and Til-til.[3]
