Markus Mendy Swoboda (born 5 February 1990) is an Austrian paracanoeist who has competed since the late 2000s. He won a gold medal in the K-1 200 m TA event at the 2010 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Poznań.

Career

In September 2025, he competed at the 2025 ICF Canoe Marathon World Championships and won a gold medal in the VL3 event with a time of 53:31.78. This marked the first time paracanoe was competed in marathon distances at the ICF Canoe Marathon World Championships.[1]
