MGI All Stars 2026 is the inaugural edition of the MGI All Stars competition, a special international beauty pageant created by the Miss Grand International Organization. The edition was formally announced in December 2025 and is scheduled to feature returning beauty queens from various national and international pageants. As the first announcement of the All Stars franchise, it marks the debut of MGI's veteran-focused competition format.
Background
On December 4, 2025, the Miss Grand International Organization revealed that it would launch its first-ever "All Stars" edition. Unlike the main Miss Grand International competition which features first-time national delegates, the All Stars edition invites former beauty queens from any pageant system, including previous MGI contestants and titleholders from other international competitions.[1] Eligibility is open to women and transgender women aged 20 to 40, regardless of marital or parental status. The competition accepts participants who have previously taken part in any international beauty pageant, whether or not they won a title. The event will commence on 25 January, with contestants earning scores through various activities and challenges. The Grand Final is scheduled to be held on 13 February in Thailand.[2][3][4][5]
Host country and venue
On December 7, 2025, Miss Grand International officially announced that Bangkok, Thailand will host the 1st MGI All Stars pageant. This will be the first time that they have hosted the event.[6]
Crown and prizes
MGI confirmed that the winner of the first edition will receive, the MGI All Stars Crown, specifically designed for the new franchise, and a cash prize ranging from US$100,000 to US$1,000,000.[1]
Contestants
The list of participants for the inaugural edition has been partially released. It is also expected to feature titleholders and finalists from various national pageants around the world.
Reception
The announcement of the first edition generated wide engagement across social media platforms. The format has been praised for giving former beauty queens a renewed opportunity to compete on a global stage. Some commentators noted that the edition may redefine pageant veteran participation and influence future pageant formats.[7]

Format
Participation is open to former national or international pageant contestants.[1] The pageant is expected to mirror elements of the main Miss Grand International format, including preliminary competitions, swimsuit, evening gown, and speech-based segments. An official contestant list and the total number of delegates are expected to be announced closer to the event.
The event will begin with the arrival of delegates on 25 January, followed by a series of scheduled activities and challenges from 26 January to 5 February.[8] These activities, intended to highlight the contestants' "star quality," include travel assignments, photo shoots, and a fashion show, among others. Rehearsals are set for 8 February, with the preliminary competition taking place on 9 and 10 February. The first day of preliminaries will feature the swimsuit and evening gown segments, which are commonly included in major international pageants. The second day will consist of cocktail dress presentations and a "bare face" segment, introduced by Miss Grand International as a means of emphasizing natural beauty and confidence. Results from the preliminary rounds will determine the Top 25, to be revealed during the Grand Final on 13 February in Thailand. Scores will then be reset, after which the judges will select the Top 10. The Top 5 finalists will be determined solely through their performances in the question-and-answer portion.[9][10]
