Lucy Newell (born 2 October 2006) is an English professional footballer, who currently plays for Birmingham City WFC,[1][2] on loan from Manchester United WFC, and plays as defender.[3]
She joined West Bromwich Albion WFC when she was nine years old and got signed to the Manchester United Academy in 2023, signing with the senior team on her 18th birthday.[4] Newell also moved through the England youth teams, most recently competing in the 2025 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship.
