Liptovské Sliače

Liptovské Sliače (until 2001 Sliače, historically also Tri Sliače; Hungarian: Háromszlécs) is a village and municipality in Ružomberok District in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1263.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 537 metres (1,762 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 19.59 km² (7.56 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 3804 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 3718 people by ethnicity 3672 as Slovak, 44 as Not found out, 10 as Czech, 6 as Rusyn, 6 as Other, 4 as Russian, 2 as Jewish, 2 as Romani, 1 as Vietnamese, 1 as Polish and 1 as French.
