Lily Delianedis (born October 7, 2001) is an American professional ice hockey forward for the Seattle Torrent of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). She played college ice hockey for the Cornell Big Red, where she was named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Year in 2022.
Early life
Delianedis grew up in Edina, Minnesota, and captained The Blake School girls’ hockey team. She was a finalist for the 2020 Minnesota Ms. Hockey award.[1]
Playing career
College
As a freshman in 2021–22, Delianedis posted 27 points (14 goals, 13 assists) in 30 games for Cornell and earned ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Year and All-Rookie Team honors.[2]
She recorded 28 points in 27 games as a sophomore in 2022–23, then 34 points in 34 games in 2023–24 when she was named Second Team All-Ivy.[3]
In 2024–25, Delianedis tallied 22 points in 35 games and scored the triple-overtime winner in the ECAC semifinals against Clarkson to send Cornell to the title game. She was also named to the Ivy League Academic All-Ivy team.[1][4]
Professional
On June 24, 2025, Delianedis was selected in the third round, 24th overall, by PWHL Seattle in the 2025 PWHL Draft.[5] On November 20, 2025, she signed a one-year contract with the Torrent.[6]
Personal life
Delianedis is the daughter of Dan and Christina Delianedis; her father played hockey at Colgate before a four-year professional career.[1]
