Lilian Betancourt is a Chilean politician affiliated with the Partido de la Gente. She was elected as a member of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile, representing the 21st District for the legislative term 2026–2030.[1][2]
Biography
Betancourt resides in Los Ángeles (Biobío Region). She emphasises in her campaign the priorities of security, housing, and youth opportunities as urgent demands from her constituency. According to media reports, she obtained 14,469 votes in the 2025 election for her district.
Political career
In the 2025 parliamentary elections, Betancourt ran as a candidate for deputy in the 21st District, covering the provinces of Biobío and Arauco, obtaining one of the available seats. She enters the Chamber of Deputies for the 2026-2030 legislative period.
