Lauren McNally is an American politician who has served in the Ohio House of Representatives since 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, she represents the 58th district, which includes part of Mahoning County.[1][2]

Career

McNally is from Youngstown, Ohio. She graduated from Ursuline High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in political science and journalism from Ohio State University in 2008.[3][4] She pursued a career in journalism before entering public service.[4] From 2016 to 2022, she was a member of the Youngstown City Council, prior to her election to the Ohio House of Representatives.[4]

McNally first ran to represent the 59th District in the 2022 Ohio House of Representatives election, where she won with 40% of the vote.[4] After being redistricted, McNally was reelected to represent the 58th District in 2024, with 58% of the vote.[4]
