Lagleygeolle (French pronunciation: [laɡleʒɔl]; Occitan: La Gleisòla) is a commune in the Corrèze department of central France.

Toponymy

In Occitan, the commune name pronounced Gleygeollo means small church.[3]: 55 

History

In medieval times, the village and lands were the dependency of the Viscounts of Turenne.[3]: 55  In 1100s, close to the present church there existed a priory.[3]: 55 

Geography

Situated on summit of 447m, the commune is located near the Massif Central. The Maumont river, a tributary of the Sourdoire, has its source there.
