Kunal Jaiswal is an Indian actor and director.[1][2][3] He began his acting career in television, gaining recognition for roles in Perfect Pati, Harphoul Mohini, and Chhoti Sardarni. He later appeared in the web series Talab and in the film Kissebaaz.[4][5]
Jaiswal made his directorial debut with Tum Yaad Na Aya Karo. He subsequently directed several music videos and short-form projects, including Bas Tera, Shaam Se, Sajda, Khicha Khicha, and Tu To Bhatka Hai.[1][6]
Early life and career
Jaiswal was born and raised in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India.[2] He developed an early interest in performing arts, particularly theatre, which became the foundation of his career. Jaiswal participated in stage productions such as Tughlaq, Lost Life, and Hum Tum.[2]
Jaiswal began his career in television, portraying Badri in the Hindi series Perfect Pati and later playing Rajendra Choudhary in Harphoul Mohini.[1] He also appeared as Ajmal in the Colors TV series Chhoti Sardarni. Expanding to digital platforms and film, he played Kabir in the web series Talab and Ram in the feature film Kissebaaz.[1]He also acted in film Ghanta Chori Ho Gaya as Virendra.[7][8] He later transitioned to directing music videos, making his debut with Tum Yaad Na Aya Karo, released under Zee Music Company.[2] His subsequent directorial projects include Bas Tera, Shaam Se, Sajda, Tera Sajda, Khicha Khicha, and Tu To Bhatka Hai, the latter starring Gurmeet Choudhary and Tridha Choudhury.[3] In 2025, he directed Rang Birangi.[4]
