Kosta Tomašević (Serbian Cyrillic: Коста Томашевић; 25 July 1923 – 13 March 1976) was a Serbian footballer remembered for his illustrious career with Red Star Belgrade. Tomašević also represented both the Yugoslavia national football team, including playing at the 1948 Summer Olympics.[1]
International career
On the national level, Tomašević made his debut for Yugoslavia in a May 1946 friendly match away against Czechoslovakia and earned a total of 10 caps, scoring 5 goals. He also was a participant at the 1950 FIFA World Cup and his final international was a February 1951 friendly away against France.[2]
