Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 (transl. Who-whom should I love 2) is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language comedy drama film written and directed by Anukalp Goswami. Produced under Abbas–Mustan Films Production Pvt. Ltd., Venus Records & Tapes and Star Studios, the film stars Kapil Sharma, Manjot Singh, Hira Warina, Tridha Choudhury, Parul Gulati and Ayesha Khan. It is a sequel to Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon (2015).

Mohan and Saniya were deeply in love, but they faced a major hurdle: Mohan was Hindu and Saniya was Muslim. Their parents strongly opposed the relationship. Saniya’s father, Mirza, decided to marry her off to a man named Mahmood. Desperate to be with her, Mohan approached Mirza and offered to convert to Islam and change his name to Mahmood. Mirza was impressed by his dedication and agreed to the match. However, Mirza decided to keep Mohan's true identity a secret from Saniya to surprise her on their wedding day.

Unaware that her groom was actually Mohan, Saniya was devastated. On the day of the wedding, she decided to run away, asking her cousin Roohi to sit in her place under the bridal veil. Consequently, Mohan (now named Mahmood) unknowingly married Roohi. When he discovered the truth, he tried to refuse her, but Roohi threatened to take her own life by jumping in front of a train. To save her, Mohan felt forced to accept her as his wife.

The drama didn't end there. That same night, Mohan was suddenly struck on the head and knocked unconscious. When he woke up the next morning, he realized his parents had taken advantage of his condition and married him to a Hindu girl named Meera. Just like Roohi, Mohan initially rejected Meera, but she also threatened to kill herself. Bound by guilt and the fear of her death, Mohan accepted Meera as his second wife.

Soon after, Saniya contacted Mohan from Goa. She told him she had converted to Christianity and wanted to marry him in a mass wedding. Mohan traveled to Goa with his friend, Hubby, planning to marry Saniya in a church. However, coincidences followed him; both Meera and Roohi ended up at the same church. During the event, a Christian girl named Jenny fainted after her boyfriend rejected her. Mohan gave her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to save her life. Jenny misunderstood this as an act of love. To avoid a scene with his other two wives nearby, and concerned for Jenny’s health, Mohan ended up marrying her as well.

Now married to three women, Mohan was consumed by guilt. He tried to confess to a priest, Father Anthony, but fled when asked for his name. Meanwhile, Jenny’s brother, DCP David D'Costa, began searching for a man in Bhopal rumored to have married three women. Adding to the chaos, a group of transgender people discovered Mohan’s secret and began blackmailing him for money. Furthermore, an NGO leader named Santosh mistakenly accused Mohan’s friend, Hubby, of being the polygamist.

Mohan’s life became a balancing act. One day, he had to keep a fast (Roza) for Roohi, participate in a Hindu prayer (Durga Puja) for Meera’s family, and attend a birthday party for Jenny. He barely managed to navigate the day by making excuses—lying to his parents about fasting for Meera to avoid eating a banana, and delaying Jenny's cake-cutting until the exact moment he could break his Roza.

The tension escalated when Roohi’s young relative, Rizwan, was enrolled in a school where Meera worked as a teacher. Mohan found himself constantly running between the two women to prevent them from meeting. Later, Meera invited him to a blood donation camp at her school. To keep his secrets, Mohan ended up donating blood three times because Roohi and Jenny were also involved in the event. A staff member discovered his secret and tried to expose him, but Mohan managed to distract the crowd with an emotional speech about religious unity.

At the camp, Mohan was shocked to see Saniya appear as a guest, but he soon realized she had lost her memory in an accident. To win her back, Mohan took on a new identity: a Sikh man named Manjeet. He successfully made Saniya fall in love with him again, and they planned to marry. However, his past was catching up. The man from the blood camp and the original Mahmood teamed up with DCP David to expose Mohan.

David gathered all three wives at a mall to reveal Mohan’s lies. When Jenny heard the news, she fainted again. Mohan, who was nearby in his Sikh disguise, rushed to save her. Eventually, the entire family—including Mirza and Mohan’s parents—tracked him down at his wedding ceremony with Saniya. Though Saniya’s memory returned, she was heartbroken to learn the truth. However, Mohan’s friend Hubby defended him, explaining that Mohan only stayed in the marriages because the women had threatened to kill themselves. Realizing his "betrayals" were actually attempts to save lives, the three wives forgave him and allowed him to marry Saniya.

Just as Mohan and Saniya were finally married, Mohan fainted. When he woke up, his mother dropped a bombshell: a Pandit had once predicted he would never marry, so she had secretly arranged a fifth marriage for him with a family friend’s daughter years ago. As the fifth wife arrived with a wedding garland, Mohan realized he was in trouble once again. The story ends with Mohan running for his life down a railway track, being chased by his fifth wife wielding a sword.

In August 2024, the film was announced with Kapil Sharma in the lead role.^[6]

Principal photography began in January 2025^[7] and was completed in March 2025.^[8] The film was shot in Mumbai and Bhopal for 45 days.^[9] In July 2025, the track Phurr was shot in Dubai.^[10]

The soundtrack for Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 was composed by Yo Yo Honey Singh, digV, Yug Bhusal, Parikshit Sharma and Nishad Chandra.

The film teaser was released on 31 March 2025^[12] and the trailer was released on 26 November 2025.^[13]

The film was cleared with a U/A certificate from the CBFC.^[14] Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 was released theatrically on 12 December 2025. ^[15]

The film's digital streaming rights were acquired by JioHotstar.^[16]

Rishabh Suri from Hindustan Times gave the film 2.5 out of 5 stars and said "Overall, Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon 2 is content to play within its comfort zone. It offers a handful of entertaining moments and a game cast, yet the stretched runtime keeps it from landing as confidently as it should".^[17] Syed Firdaus Ashraf of Rediff rated the film 4 stars out of 5 and observed that "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 may be a comedy filled with chaos, but in its indirect way, it speaks about a time when the Constitution mattered more than one's religion and when the idea of India was larger than personal hate."^[18] Shreyas Pande from The Hindu and wrote that "the film is a surprising blend of over-the-top gags, which quietly accentuate its progressive themes".^[19]

Deepa Gahlot writing for the Scroll.in commented that "Unfortunately, the film is dated and ludicrous. There is a modicum of satire, like a spark in the gloom.^[20] Shilajit Mitra of The Hollywood Reporter observed that "Kapil Sharma is once again a man with many wives in this belated sequel; it's satire meets fantasy meets low comedy." ^[21] Bollywood Hungama rated it 3.5/5 stars and said that "On the whole, KIS KISKO PYAAR KAROON 2 is a light-hearted, massy laugh-riot that fondly evokes the madcap comedies of the 90s. It’s neither groundbreaking nor flawless, but the gags land more often than not, Kapil Sharma is in top form, and the clean, family-friendly humour gives it a clear identity."^[22]
