King Living is an Australian furniture manufacturer and retailer founded in 1977 in Sydney by David King and his mother Gwen King.[1][2] The company designs, manufactures and retails modular sofas and other furniture, and operates showrooms inAustralia and select international markets including New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, China, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States.[3][4]
History
King Living was established by David King, who initially made foam furniture with his mother Gwen in their family home.[1][5] The company operated under the name “King Furniture” until 2015, when it rebranded as King Living.[6]
Operations
The company manufactures and retails a range of furniture products and employs a vertically integrated model, overseeing design, production, distribution, and retail.[2][5][7][8]
