Kelly Cobiella is an American journalist who works for NBC News and is based in London. Before that, she worked at other news networks CBS News, ABC News, among others.[1]
Early life and education
Cobiella graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1993.[2]
Career
She began her career at local affiliates KJCT, KCOY, and WPLG before moving to CBS News as a correspondent in 2005.[3]
In 2011 she moved ABC News and was based in London.[4] She then left the network in 2014 and joined NBC News in the same position she holds to this day.[5] She covered the British royal family, Julian Assange founder of WikiLeaks, and the Trial of Oscar Pistorius.[6][7][8]
Awards and nominations
In 2010, she jointly won an Emmy award for "Outstanding Business and Economic Reporting in a Regularly Scheduled Newscast.[9]
