Kamen Rider ZEZTZ (仮面ライダーゼッツ, Kamen Raidā Zettsu) is a Japanese tokusatsu television series, the 36th entry of Toei Company's Kamen Rider metaseries, and the seventh series to debut during the Reiwa era. The series premiered on September 7, 2025, joining No.1 Sentai Gozyuger and later, Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity in the Super Hero Time lineup after the finale of Kamen Rider Gavv.[1]
The overall themes of the series are dreams and spy technology. It is both the first Kamen Rider series to have a global simulcast alongside its domestic Japanese release[2] and the final series to air alongside a Super Sentai series.
Plot
Baku Yorozu is a young man plagued with terrible luck who dreams of becoming a secret agent. He spends his nights dreaming of serving the special organization CODE as Code number: 7. When a stroke of misfortune pulls Baku into an encounter with the monsters known as Nightmares, he is enlisted by the mysterious commander Zero to become an actual CODE agent. Now equipped with the ZEZTZ Driver, a transformation belt using specially powered capsules known as "Capsems", Baku transforms into Kamen Rider ZEZTZ to stop the Nightmares in both the dream world and the real world.
Characters

- Technolom Machinery (テクノロムマシーナリー, Tekunoromu Mashīnarī): An enhanced version of Technolom Stream accessed from the Machinery (マシーナリー, Mashīnarī) Capsem that equips Baku with a gauntlet, which can be used as either a claw or a grapnel.[8]
- Technolom Projection (テクノロムプロジェクション, Tekunoromu Purojekushon): An enhanced version of Technolom Stream accessed from the Projection (プロジェクション, Purojekushon) Capsem that grants photokinesis.[9]
- Esprim Recovery (エスプリムリカバリー, Esupurimu Rikabarī): An auxiliary form accessed from the Recovery (リカバリー, Rikabarī) Capsem that grants the ability to restore objects and/or heal other organisms. In this form, Baku wields the Breakam ZEZTZer in Axe Mode (アックスモード, Akkusu Mōdo).[10][11]

He frequently speaks in English and freely switches between it and Japanese when conversing with others.[3][4]
NOX
NOX (ノクス, Nokusu) is the mysterious man behind the Nightmares who was an agent of CODE, under the alias Code number: 4 (コードナンバー4, Kōdo Nanbā Fō).[3][14] His real identity is Kensei Odaka (小鷹 賢政, Odaka Kensei), who was a detective of the Tokyo Police Department and a member of its Paranormal Affairs Division before resigning from the police and disappearing a year before the series, discarding his original name and identity.[10][11][12] He was also a teacher at the mysterious juku Baku attended as a child.[15]
Utilizing the Erase (イレイス, Ireisu) Capsem in conjunction with the sash-like Knight Invoker (ナイトインヴォーカー, Naito Invōkā) belt, NOX can transform into the Kamen Rider-esque NOX Knight (ノクスナイト, Nokusu Naito). While transformed, he gains nihilikinesis.[16] He also wields the Breakam Buster (ブレイカムバスター, Bureikamu Basutā), which can switch between its sword-like Calibur Mode (カリバーモード, Karibā Mōdo) and its rifle-like Launcher Mode (ランチャーモード, Ranchā Mōdo).[11][12]
