  • A note that the only correct spelling of this word is KALYUG - which literally translates to the age (yug) of tomorrow (kal). The goddess Kali is not related to this phenomenon- but is seen in some holy contexts in Hinduism, to be the one who births Kalki, who will slay the demon Culhi - and end suffering, restore Dharma (righteousness).
