Josino Levino Ferreira (3 April 1913 – 5 October 2025) was a Brazilian supercentenarian who, at the age of 112 years, 185 days, was the second-oldest known living man in Brazil and the world, behind João Marinho Neto until his death.[1][2][3]
Biography
Born in Conceição, Paraíba, Brazil, on 3 April 1913, he was a farmer his entire life.[4] He married Sebastiana Ana da Conceição in 1941.[5] In 2001, after 60 years of marriage, his wife Sebastiana died aged 87.[4]
Ferreira lived in Coronel Ezequiel, Rio Grande do Norte.[5] He had three living children, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.[4]
Ferreira died from aspiration on the morning of 5 October 2025, at the age of 112 years and 185 days.[6]
