John 'Oke Afareha
John Okeoghene Afareha (born 10 March 1947) is a Nigerian Catholic prelate who served as the bishop of the Diocese of Warri from 2010 to 2022.
Biography
John was born on 10 March 1947 to Rebecca and Edward Afareha from Oleh in Isoko South, Delta State, Nigeria. His father died when he was young, hence he was trained with his sister Theresa Maris Afareha by their step mother, Angelina Afareha.[1] On 18 April 2022, Pope Francis accepted his resignation as the diocesan bishop.[2]
