John Hadle
John Hadley, Hadele or Hadle (fl. 1300s), was an English Member of Parliament (MP).
He was a Member of the Parliament of England for City of London in 1369 and 1375.[1] His election in 1369 may have been connected to his strong and articulate opposition to royal policies.[2]
He was a Grocer. In 1571 he had been arrested alongside the factional leader John Northampton after a serious affray and sent to the Tower of London.[3] The affray had meant that the Edward III had to summon the mayor, aldermen and leading men from the guilds to Guildford to swear to keep the peace.[3]
