Joe Nelson was an English freestyle sport wrestler.[1]
Wrestling career
Nelson was a member of the Bolton United Harriers & AC.[2]
He represented England at the 1934 British Empire Games[3] in London, where he competed in the featherweight division[4] and won a silver medal.[5][6]
He represented Lancashire[7] and turned professional in the mid-thirties.[1]
