Jigokuraku: Paradise Battle[a] is an upcoming free-to-play survival RPG. Produced by Good Smile Company,[1] it was released on November 4, 2025. Based on the 2023 anime television series adaptation of Yuji Kaku's manga series, Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku.[1] Staff from the anime helped with the game, including Akira Kindaichi supervising the scenario and Yoshiaki Dewa composing the music.[2] On September 30, 2025, anime production company Twin Engine would announce the release date for the game, in November 2025.[3][4]
Premise and setting
It is set in the same mysterious island from the Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku anime–Shinsenkyō, players are to form parties of "Condemned Sentries" and "Executioners" to fight strange monsters and immortal beings, gather acquaintances, and explore the environment in the hopes of finding the Elixir of Life.
Gameplay
The game is expected to bring together a technique reminiscent of the anime adaptation, with animation studio MAPPA providing editorial supervision.[4] Anime series scriptwriter Akira Kindaichi would be in charge of the game's overall theme, with returning composer Yoshiaki Dewa handling composition alongside ZENTA.[1][4]
Development and release
It is an upcoming free-to-play survival role-playing video game.[1][3] In a trailer for the game, Paradise Battle was revealed to be set on fictional island of Shinsenkyō,[5] also featuring Gabimaru and Sagiri's signature moves. The game was announced in December 2024 at Jump Festa '25,[2] and was released by Good Smile Company worldwide for Windows, iOS and Android in November 2025. Upon release, the game would #1 in the App Store’s free download rankings during its pre-download period.[6]
