Javier Roces Quesada (born 10 September 2005) is a Dominican professional footballer who plays as a forward / attacking midfielder for Cibao FC in the LDF.
Biography
Roces was born in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. He joined the Cibao FC youth academy at a young age, progressing through various youth levels including sub‑19 and the Liga de Expansión Sub‑23 before making his senior breakthrough.
Roces came through the Cibao FC academy system and made his professional debut in the LDF with the club’s first team in 2023. In 2024, Roces scored a double against Atlántico FC on 10 August 2024. On 27 September 2025, he scored a match‑winning goal that ended Salcedo FC’s unbeaten streak and put Cibao FC at the top of the LDF standings.
Over his early career at Cibao, including youth and senior categories, Roces had 34 goals in 98 appearances across all levels by 2025. Roces has been involved with the Dominican Republic youth national teams, including appearances for the Under‑20 squad in regional competitions. He featured in the CONCACAF U‑20 Championship representing the Dominican Republic.
