Jacob Muir (born 3 May 2002) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a central defender.

Early life

Muir was born in Perth in 2002 and attended Carmel School.[1]

Club career

Muir played youth soccer for Sorrento FC and Perth Glory.[2]

Muir made his debut for Perth Glory in a FFA Cup match in Adelaide vs. Melbourne Victory on 24 November 2021.[3] In November 2024, he left the club, terminating his contract by mutual consent.[4]

In December 2024, Muir agreed to join USL Championship side Monterey Bay on a one-year deal with an option for an additional year.[5] His contract option was declined following the end of the 2025 season.[6]
